Seriously, I know with all the media attention this may sound cliche, but please, please, PLEASE find a designated driver, or make a plan so no one gets behind the wheel drunk (or close to the legal limit) tonight! Even if you ARE ok to drive, and you get pulled over you can still get in a stupid amount of trouble... Really I have been out the last few nights, and am simply amazed by how many cars I am seeing pulled over... the cops are definitely NOT understaffed this year. Be safe, have fun, Make a plan...

Back from a weekend in Flagstaff today. It was really relaxing to get away! That was our Christmas present to ourselves this year. Definitely worth it. Nothing better than escaping to the snow for a couple days.

The tire blowout on the way back was pretty spectacular as you can see from the picture above. Thanks to the people in Camp Verde who helped us out. Anyway, it's Christmas eve, so Merry Christmas everyone!!  

Band practice was tonight and let me tell you: it rocked. All of you who will see us at New Years are in for a real treat. We're trying some different ways of approaching our music that are really working for us. Thanks for that, Jim! It's definitely taking a turn for the best and all the fruits of our hard effort will be passed on to you: the listener. I'm definitely very psyched about it. Also starving! Anyone else get hungry after rocking out?

One of the biggest musical changes I've made is to go from using a Boss ME-50 All-In-One effects pedal to going back to my standard single pedals setup (pictured to the right). The ME-50 was definitely easy to carry around to gigs but even after messing with it for a while, it just wasn't the same. I might try a different Multiple Effects Processor later on, but I'm going to stick with my nice old pedals for now (they also look cool).

Oh, if I don't blog again before this weekend, Happy Holidays to all! I will be spending this weekend in Flagstaff in our first vacation in over a year! Super excited to get out of town. I think the last time I saw snow was seriously over 15 years ago. Should be fun. Do you guys like snow?

Hi everyone, I'm Alfred and I'll be contributing to the blogs as well.

Man, isn't this just a great time of the year? I think so. Mainly because in the same 30 days I have my birthday, Christmas and New Years to celebrate. Let me tell you: I love celebrating. Of course this would all mean nothing without a beautiful girl by my side, my little rugrat and my band of brothers: Radiobox. Thanks so much for everything, everyone.

Hello Hello, this is Mikie coming at you with a disturbing new trend… my blog. First off, I would like to say thanks to any and all of you who have ever been out to see us perform live!! I hope you had a great, memorable time, and I want to see you again…all of the time…maybe all at once? It’s been a strange and wonderful year for the band, with a rollercoaster of exciting twists and turns, to make things interesting, and fun! As many of you know the band has evolved a bit in April with the addition of our new bassist, the talented and sexy Jim Carr, to the roster. We are also pleased to reintroduce the new Radiobox.com website, complete with a whole array of kick ass features. The newest demo track recordings have (mostly) been added to our Myspace site as well as the website, Alfred has penned all kinds of new original material, and we have darkened the doorways of a bunch of new venues.

Not to fear!! As usual, we have found a home for New Years Eve, and will also be blasting P.F. Chang’s Marathon runners in January just to get things started!

For now, buckle down Christmas is just about upon us… and I am late for practice, so leave you with these words… At all costs, avoid the parking NIGHTMARE abyss that is Chandler Fashion Mall… don’t do it… Don’t think that you can just Valet it either… it’s full.
